Invalid Or Incomplete Dxf Input Autocad 2012

I have created a bunch of drawings in LibreCAD 2.1.3. My files are unable to be opened by AutoCAD 2012 or Autodesk DWG TrueView 2016.

Expected behavior

Expect AutoCAD to import the DXF file.

Observed behavior

Aug 01, 2017  Every time I tried to import, there was prompt message came out 'Invalid or incomplete DXF/DWG input file. Unable to continue import translation'. Unable to import dxf file from Autocad. Russell Williams Aug 1, 2017 9:34 AM. (maybe ACAD 2014 or 2012) and import it. We stopped updating ACAD in 2016 so I don't have any info on prior version. Invalid or incomplete DXF input -- drawing discarded The reason is that autocad is reading thousands of dbobjects in the file when we only have it fields and xrefs in our drawings. You notice when your drawing is corrupt when you try to copy something it boggs down and quits or when you open and save it takes longer.

The file test_2.zip contains a DXF file that was converted by a program called 'Any DWG DXF Converter'. AutoCAD can open that file, but as you can see, there are issues with text and dimensions. In addtion, Autodesk DWG TrueView 2016 can open file test_2.dxf.
